Days/Hours: Home Farm is open September 29th to October 29th, 2023. They are open Wednesdays & Thursdays: 9am - 5pm & Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: 9am - 6pm

Cramer's Western Town, Lynden - Cramer's is open every weekend in October. Friday-Sunday, 10am-5pm. Wagon Rides, pumpkin patch, baby pigs, train and pony rides($) and more.  

Home Farm U-Pick Pumpkin Patch, Birch Bay - Home Farm is open starting September 29th-October 29th, 2023. In addition to picking your own pumpkin, they will be having tractor train rides on the weekends, corn maze, visits to the pig pens, photo ops, treats & more! 

Willetta Farms, Everson - Pick your favorite pumpkin from the patch for carving or decorating. They will be offering pumpkin sales, baked goods, beverages including hot apple cider and homemade crafts. They will have horse drawn wagon rides and animal viewing. Willetta Farm's Pumpkin Patch will be open on Sat. & Sun.10-5pm in October to the public. Starting Friday, October 7th they will be open from 10am-1pm on Fridays.

Days/Hours: Stoney Ridge Farm is open Saturdays starting October 8th from 10am-5pm. They are open on Saturdays all of October.

Cost: Admission to the farm is $5.00 a person. Children 2 and under free.

What you need to know:

The Stoney Ridge Fall Festival kicks off on October 7th for its fall season. We’re working with Stoney Ridge to sponsor their fall festival and offer free admission for any WECU member who shows their card. We’re also working with them to offer a $2 admission discount for WWU students. On Saturdays in October there will be food trucks at the farm (JT’s Smoking BBQ and Cicchitti’s Pizza) and on the first two Saturdays there will be live music from 11am-1pm with Queens Bluegrass on the 7th and Prozac Mountain Boys on the 14th.

Admission includes the corn maze, wagon ride and farm animals.

The patch is full of gorgeous pumpkins and there is u-pick or we -pick Jonagold apples in the orchard. Fresh, pasteurized cider will be available. Our coffee shop will also be open with warm apple cider or pumpkin donuts to enjoy.

Cicchitti’s pizza truck and JT’s Smoking BBQ will be on the farm on Saturdays.

WECU will have the mobile ATM at the farm on Saturdays (the farm is cash or check only) there is no fee for members of any local credit union.

Whatcom Frightmare is a haunted house in Ferndale. They will have full and light scares. Light scares are more appropriate for younger children.

Halloween Circus Show - October 22nd (8pm), 23rd (6 & 9pm), 24th (3pm). Bellingham Circus Guild are pleased to announce, their 4 1/2th annual Halloween show featuring hideous and hilarious tricksters, crazy feats of balance, juggling, aerials and acrobatic wonderments to spook and AMAZE you. Hosted by Bellingham's Most Dorkiest 2021, Sadye Osterloh, this show is guaranteed to tickle your funny bone and give you the heebee geebees. NINE SHOWS, limited capacity!

Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson) take a chance on going freelance, de-haunting houses in a new ghost removal service. As soon as they open their doors, their first order of business becomes saving beautiful cellist Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and nerdy Louis Tully (Rick Moranis), who’ve inadvertently opened the gates of hell…right in their own apartment building!

Salvation Army Harvest Party


The Salvation Army is hosting a Harvest Carnival on Saturday, October 28th at their location at 2912 NW Avenue in Bellingham.  Their Willy Wonka-themed event is free and safe for families.  They’ll have carnival games, Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-themed activities, food, prizes and a costume contest.  They will also have a trunk or treat happening at the same time in our parking lot.  Our event will be from 2:00 – 6:00 pm on the 28th

This candy-free event is for children Preschool through 2nd grade from 2:30-5pm! Wear your costumes, make crafts, and win prizes playing games at our booths.

From 2:30-3:30pm is the Sensory Friendly Boo experience. We have a limited supply of headphones at the door for families to use while visiting.

This event is free (with a suggested $3 donation).

Downtown Ferndale Trick-or-Treat - 3-5pm - Ferndale - Each year we organize a "Downtown" Trick or Treat as a safe environment for the youth of our community to engage with the businesses.  Chamber member businesses along Main Street (not just downtown) are encouraged to participate. FREE
