A whole day can be easily spent at Hovander Homestead Park. This gorgeous park has so many things to see. There are historic homes, a big red barn, grassy areas to let the kids run free, and a playground to play on. There is a lookout tower to climb and view the farm. There are horses, pigs, chickens, geese, turkeys and goats to see and feed where appropriate. Take in a program at the Tenant Lake Interpretive Center or walk the boardwalk around the wetland and view the wildlife, enjoy the sights and smells of the fragrance garden. There is always something to do here (or not too)!
